A Space Films is a Toronto-based production and script service company. We are developing and producing projects that are committed to creating a springboard in the film and digital media industry for Ontario womxn*, girls, and underrepresented stories of identity, place, and gender.

Teaming with Toronto-based industry professionals in production, cinematography, sound, and editing, A Space Films develops and produces uninhibited, urban narrative content for web and digital media platforms. With a goal to cultivate dynamic industry voices, we focus on projects that highlight diverse perspectives on subjects like inclusivity, community, and mental health.

The brainchild and passion project of Andrea Wrobel, a writer and filmmaker in Toronto, A Space Films has a mandate to support local business and artists through our business practices and is creating a series of workshops to help local artists to develop and hone their storytelling and cinematic skills at any age.

We also offer a number of Script + Writing Services in the literary, film, and television industries.

A Space Films also proudly pledges to the Bechdel Bill.

*We employ an inclusive definition of "womxn." This means we welcome trans womxn, non-binary people, cisgendered womxn, and genderqueer womxn who identify as female in a way that's significant to them.
